Sarah 陳永懿 Chen (she/her) is passionate about equity, learning, cooking, music, community, decolonizing our minds, puzzles, nature, and trying each day to create a less-f*ed-up world. (Chen as a transliteration of her family name 陳; Sarah and 永懿 her given names) She works primarily as a music director, pianist/accompanist, and copyist. Since her first year, she’s had several opportunities to serve on music teams of NYU Tisch productions, here in New Studio as well as Tisch Drama Mainstage (RENT, md. John Bronston). Among the many NSB projects, there’s a special place in her heart for her senior year AMD work — Love Somebody Now, md. Patrick B. Phillips and Mean Girls, md. Melody Valdez.
