Annie Thomas is a New York-based performer and composer currently completing her senior year at NYU Tisch, where she trains with the New Studio on Broadway and the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Annie is also a graduate of ITW Amsterdam and is a classically trained dancer with extensive technical foundations in ballet, jazz, and tap.

This summer, Annie will be performing in Les Misérables at City Springs Theatre Company and is set to star in an upcoming TV pilot. Her previous credits span both stage and screen, including Kent Gash’s production of Sweeney Todd at NYU, the one-woman show Dance, Edita Dance, and Silence Is Not Golden (Emerson Theatre Collaborative). On camera, she has appeared in projects for 20th Century Fox, ID TV, Pratt Institute, and NYU UGFTV.

When she isn't on stage or set, Annie is a composer, scoring feature films and Off-Broadway productions, as well as releasing her own original music. Her creative reach extends to the West Coast, where she spends her winters directing short films and teaching. Annie is thrilled to announce that her first film will be debuting at the Cannes Film Festival next year.
